Welcome to Social Studies 8! 

ABOUT ME:

I am the Teacher-in-Charge of the Social Studies Department here at Van Wyck and have been working for WCSD since 2001. I am a lifelong resident of Dutchess County and went to Wappingers Schools. I am married to Mrs. May who teaches 7th grade ELA here at Van Wyck and together we have 4 amazing children. Kylie and Carter are twins who attend Sheafe Road Elementary School, Callie goes to Sheafe Road as well, and the youngest is Kenzie. In addition to teaching,  I love reading biographies and history books, doing activities and exploring new places with my family, being outdoors, running, biking, and working on our house in Wappingers Falls.
