I received my Bachelors Degree in Elementary and Special Education degree from Northeastern University in 2000.  I continued on to Suny New Paltz for my Masters Degree in Special Education.  This is my 20th year in the Wappingers School District, where I have mostly taught first grade, with some experience in kindergarten.  I am also a certified yoga instructor, meditation teacher and mindfulness instructor.  I currently run the mindfulness/yoga program for Gayhead students and staff.  Besides yoga, I enjoy being with my family outdoors.  Some of my interests include hiking, skiing, crafting, paddle boarding, kayaking and camping.
