Practicing the basics of learning will help keep what you have learned throughout resource room sharp. Don't forget to use the strategies you have learned throughout the year while working.
-Read, read, read! Choose a book at home or online to read. For additional practice, write about what you read. Here are some suggestions to write about:
summarize the story (what happened in the story)
tell about a character
problem/solution
cause/effect
theme of the story

Have fun!! Make flashcards to practice your math facts (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) Hang them up around your house (such as on the fridge, your bedroom wall, even the bathroom!) The more you see and practice them the stronger your facts will be!
