Meet the Teacher

Hello 4th Grade families! My name is Rachel Leone and I have been teaching for 21 years.  My first year was spent teaching reading to middle schoolers and I have been teaching 4th grade at Fishkill Plains for 20 years. I received my graduate degree from Mound Saint Mary College and went on to obtain my administrative degree from Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts. 

I am married to an amazing man named Rob and we have 3 children RJ, Kendall and Brenton.  We live in the Wappingers District and my children attend Brinckerhoff and Van Wyck.  RJ is in 8th grade, Kendall is in 7th grade and Brenton is in 3rd grade.  In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, cooking and watching my children play sports!  I am so excited to begin a new school year and look forward to learning lots and creating great memories together!
