At Home School Work
Hi Families!
Our class webpage and google classroom can be used as a central spot to find resources needed for at home learning.
Here is a list of tasks that I think would be reasonable for a 2nd grader to complete every weekday (links for all of these sites are listed under my "Student Links" and/or "Math Links" page)
- 20 minutes of reading (books at students' reading level, raz-kids, Epic, etc.)
- 30 minutes of iReady (alternate between math and reading each day)
- Complete a Seesaw assignment from Mrs. Corcoran and/or I will link some worksheets you can print and have your kids do as well. Some of the worksheets will be available on my "Printables for At Home Work" page but there are more available through Google Classroom
- go on Xtra Math a few times a week
*If you do not have adequate devices or internet access, please look into what is available. I've read that Spectrum is offering free wifi! LOTS of learning apps are free right now in reaction to this unprecedented emergency. Please take advantage of all! (See links below to get you started)
*If you are unable to access or complete the online work, the main office at Fishkill will make copies of the work for you.
Bloomz is still the easiest way to get in touch with me if you have any questions. If you need anything, please don't hesitate to reach out. We are navigating through uncharted territory, but we will get through it together!
