Homework

HOMEWORK POLICY

• The purpose of traditional homework is to reinforce concepts taught in class.

• We expect the children to read EVERY day for 10 minutes. (Or more!)

• Homework will be sent home on Friday and due the following Friday. It will typically contain a book report, some math fluency, and/or some sort of ELA practice. 

• Our first homework packet will be sent home on Friday, October 6 and is due on Friday, October 13.

Please check your child's take home folder every day!  Take out any papers that were sent home and remind your child to put their homework in their folder when finished.  When the folder isn't emptied every night, the children sometimes get confused by the extra papers.  In addition, if work comes home unfinished, please take some time to help your child finish the assignment and send it back to school when done.  As always, thanks for your help and support!
