Grading: Students grades will be made up of the following:
Homework: Expect homework when students need extra time to finish work usually began in class. All assignments will be assigned through google classroom. Most, but not all, assignments will be penalized if the assignment is completed late without an acceptable excuse.
Quizzes: Quizzes may be expected at least once a week. They will be worth anywhere from 3 to 30 points each. This includes informal speaking will usually be assessed weekly.
Tests and Projects: Tests will be announced in advance. Missed tests must be made up as soon as is reasonably possible but no later than the final date of the marking period which will be given. Any missed tests or projects that are not made up will result in a grade of zero. Tests and projects will range from 30 to 100 points (the final exam will most likely be worth 100 points).
Computing Averages: Students can determine their average anytime by adding up all of the points they have earned and dividing by the total number of points they could have earned. Infinite Campus is updated at least weekly and you may check the grade there.
Students should contact me for extra help that will be available most days befire school at 7:00 am or some select days after school. YOU SHOULD MAKE AN APPOINTMENT AS ALL EXTRA HELP IS BY APPOINTMENT. DO NOT wait if you are having difficulty. I am here to help you be successful.
Students may partake in earning extra credit for the marking period if they meet all requirements to be eligible. To be eligible, a student MUST have completed ALL assigned work before requesting extra credit and should then speak with Señora Wright to discuss it.

Pen and pencil rule is in effect for all in person written assessments.
