Alabama Advantage Scholarship
To qualify for Alabama Advantage, students must:
Be an Alabama resident
Submit your application for admission and all supporting documents by January 15 to maximize scholarship opportunities
Complete the FAFSA and be full Pell Grant eligible
Submit all financial aid package requirements and receive financial aid award by May 1
Enroll full time with at least 12 credit hours per semester
Maintain a 2.0 cumulative UA GPA

Bevill State Community College Dual
Enrollment Scholarship
The Bevill State Dual Enrollment Scholarship application will re-open on Monday, October 3 and will close on Novemeber 4, 2023. The application can be found at www.BSCC.edu/DualEnrollmentScholarship.
Applicants applying for the Dual Enrollment Scholarship must meet High School Admission requirements, have a minimum 2.5 High School GPA, and complete the Dual Enrollment Authorization Form. Applicants must be admitted to Bevill State by completing an Application for Admission.
The scholarship will cover tuition, fees, and required books for 2 courses per semester. Career Technical students are required to enroll in at least one Career Technical course associated with their chosen program of study. If a Career Technical student chooses to take one academic course with a CTE course, it must be included in the selected program of study. General Academic students are not required to take a Career Technical Course. The scholarship will cover up to 2 eligible courses for these student

Eligibility
Applicants must meet all of the following criteria to be eligible for this scholarship:
Be a high school senior or first-time college freshman beginning in fall 2023
Be a U.S. citizen
Be an Alabama resident
Planning to enroll in an Alabama eligible educational institution in fall 2023
Demonstrate financial need
Have a minimum GPA of 2.75
Have an ACT score of 26 or below
(applicants attending a two-year school will not be required to submit ACT scores)
Awards of $4,000 for four-year college enrollees and $2,000 for two-year college enrollees.
Award is one-time, non-renewable and granted on a semester basis in the first academic year.
