Cliffhangers

     This activity is based on the Cliffhangers game from The Price Is Right.  The template below features the Cliffhangers game complete with the mountain climber and the yodeling music (which you can mute if it's annoying).  

     Cliffhangers can be used as a quick activity for all kinds of subjects.  The teacher can ask questions requiring numerical answers.  For each number the students are away from the correct answer, the mountain climber will move slowly up the mountain.  Will the students prevent the mountain climber from going over the edge?

     To open the activity, click the Cliffhangers picture below.  The presentation will open as a PowerPoint.  Make a copy of the presentation by 1) clicking File, 2) selecting Create a Copy, and 3) Download from the dropdown menu.  If you do not make a copy for yourself, the presentation will not work correctly.

Technology Concentration Game

     For a quick review of technology resources, this game of concentration requires students to use their recall skills to match pieces of technology equipment by calling out numbers on the game board.
