Hurdles is a Math game activity using a PowerPoint with animations. A runner goes down a track and tries to jump three hurdles. To help the runner, students choose the correct math equations to total a preset number. Click the Hurdles link above or the picture to the right to open the Hurdles activity and learn how it works.
Students will count coins to figure out how much money they have. The catch is they have to avoid hitting the Money Trap. Click the box to the right to open the Money Trap activity and learn how the game works.
Practice your multiplication skills with this game of quick thinking and see how fast you can race around the track. To open the activity and view the game rules, click the Multiplication Race picture to the right or the link above. The presentation will open as a PowerPoint. Make a copy of the presentation by 1) clicking File, 2) selecting Create a Copy, and 3) Download from the dropdown menu. If you do not make a copy for yourself, the presentation will not work correctly.
