classroom teacher
Welcome to our Kindergarten Wonderland. My name is Keri Woronka and I am your child’s teacher. I am a graduate of Western Michigan with a minor in integrating arts and a master’s in technology. I also have my national board certification in early elementary. This will be my twenty-fourth year teaching at Pleasant Union Elementary. I live in Apex with my husband, Jeff and my two sons Myles (12 years old) and Zac (9 years old) and puppy (Boba), but I am originally from Chicago. My favorite activities are: spending time with my family, watching my boys play West Raleigh baseball, traveling, cooking/baking, photography, and reading. I look forward to being your child’s kindergarten teacher and watching your Wonder grow!
My name is Cameron Johnson and I am the instructional assistant on track 1. This will be my tenth year working at Pleasant Union. I started working here when my son was in 4th grade and my daughter was in 1st grade because I loved working with my daughter's kindergarten class so much. My son, Gavin, just graduated from high school and is headed to N.C. State in the fall. My daughter, Kate, is a rising 10th grader. Along with my husband, Randall, our favorite thing to do is travel. I am so excited to work with your child this year!
