About Ms. Wilson

I graduated from Virginia Tech with a degree in Crop and Soil Environmental Science and worked in a forestry lab at NC State for 3 years. I started as a teacher assistant in an elementary school and completed the NC Teach Program for lateral entry into teaching. I taught 6th grade science for 10 years in Durham County. This will be the start of my 10th year teaching at Mills Park Middle School. I absolutely love middle school and the 7th grade curriculum.

I have a 20 year old daughter who is a sophmore at Va Tech. I have a dog, Louie, who is a black lab mix. I also have a cat, Isabelle, that is a calico. My favorite things are watching sports (GO VA TECH), and spending time with family. I also enjoy visiting the National Parks.

At Mills Park I coach the MathCounts team.
