How to Access our Course and Get Started

• Log into Google Classroom Courses by logging into the student’s Wake ID Portal.

• To access the Wake ID Portal click here:http://mywakeid.wcpss.net/

• The continuing link for our Google Meet live classroom instruction is posted at the top of our Google Classroom, on the top left part of the course home page.

Are you ready to learn online?

• Our classes will be delivered in both synchronous and asynchronous learning formats as we work through the content. I will communicate with you weekly the times that we will have live instruction during the class period we are scheduled to meet.

• Synchronous Learning: We will engage in a live Google Meet where, as a class or in groups, I will offer direct instruction, discussion, or exploration of content.

• Asynchronous Learning: This is learning that is recorded or offered in a format other than face-to-face with the teacher.

Course Structure/Campus Requirements:

● Until further notice, all of our instruction will be done remotely via Google Meets.

● When we transition to in-person instruction, I will communicate the structures that we will use for transition back to classroom instruction.
