About Mrs. Weiss:

This is my second year at Wake Forest Middle School! Before I came to WFMS, I taught for five years at Dillard Drive Middle School in Raleigh. I have taught 6th and 7th grade Language Arts as well as 7th and 8th grade Math and Math 1. I attended Appalachian State University where I earned my Bachelor's of Science in Middle Grades Education with concentrations in Mathematics and English Language Arts. I was born and raised in Michigan, but fell in love with North Carolina when I came here on vacation in middle school. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our pets. We have a black lab named Champ, a lab/hound mix named Bailey, and a cat named Vinny. We love to travel (cruises especially), snowboard, and spend time at Lake Gaston. I am looking forward to another great year at WFMS! Go Cougars!!
