Our Mission
To create a space founded on mutual respect and compassion, where all members of our school community are seen, heard, and reflected both on our shelves and in our programs. To establish equitable access to materials, and in turn to foster love of lifelong learning and access to the pursuit of our wildest curiosities.

Open before school starting at 7 and after school until 2:45.
Morning Circulation
Morning Circulation
The library is open every morning beginning at 7 AM. Students must report to their first period before coming to the library and must have a signed library pass.
Meet Your Librarian
Meet Your Librarian
Ms. Vaverek is the librarian here at West Cary. Her favorite things are birding, knitting, and (of course) books! She's a big nerd about just about everything from anime to the 18th century novel.
She got her Master's degree in Library Science from UNC Chapel Hill, but her college football allegiances lie with Florida State where she was in the marching band for four years.
Her favorite books are: The Wizard of Earthsea by Ursula Le Guin and Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen.
