This was when we interviewed one of Washington's Alumni, Mr. Monroe.

We presented our work to the Washington Staff during a staff meeting in April. They were really impressed with our project and asked lots of questions.
We ended our project with a presentation for Wake County Schools and the community. On that day we got to unveil the plaque that says Washington School is on the Register of Historic Places. We were so excited to share it with Mr. Monroe, he said it was the best day of his life.
