When will I receive my schedule? Schedules will be available to students the week prior to school beginning. This year, you will likely receive a postcard with directions on how to access your schedule via powerschool when they are available.
I requested an elective class and it is not on my schedule, what do I do? All elective courses with the exception of band, chorus, and orchestra are semester long. Therefore, it is likely that you will have that course second semester (Starting in Mid-January). If you are missing a music course, please contact Mr. Lindsey to discuss your schedule further.
I have a course on my schedule that I am not interested in. How do I change it? If you are interested in changing a course. Please complete this google form. Mr. Lindsey will be in contact to discuss other options.
How do I find out which bus I ride and the stop? Students needing a place on the bus, need to request a seat. You can do so by visiting this website. Once you have been assigned a bus, you will receive an email with details regarding you route number of stop.
If you have recently moved and need to change your bus stop, you will need to first update your address with the school (by bringing in an utility bill or lease reflecting the new address). After your address has been updated, you can register for a bus stop change by submitting a request on the WCPSS Transportation website.
Do I need to have any materials for the first day of school? You should bring your WCPSS issued computer device, a notebook, a folder, pencils, at least 2 masks, and an agenda the first day. We suggest holding off on purchasing other materials until you meet your teachers and learn their preferences.
I am interested in playing sports, what do I do? Fall sports typically hold tryouts and practices starting in August. Check this website for tryout dates and times for the sport you are interested in. You must have an updated eligibility form and physical on file with the school, as well as a COVID-19 Pre-participation form before you attend a tryout or practice. All forms can be found on this website.
How to I get parent access to powerschool? All parents are encouraged to sign up for powerschool. This will give you direct access to your child's grades and attendance records. You need to do this by bringing a picture ID to campus. Our data manager will then create an account and email you the log-in information. You only need to do this once while your child is at EM3.
Where can I find the form to register for free or reduced lunch? All students will receive breakfast and lunch at no cost to them during the 2021-22 school year.
My student needs medication while at school. Who do I give it to? Students wishing to store medication at school need to have the doctor complete this form; this form will need to be completed and submitted for each school year. It can then be dropped off to student services with the medication in its original container. Please note that students may not have any prescription medication on campus without the submission of a doctor verified form.
