About Enloe GT/IB Magnet High School

Dear Prospective Families,

Enloe GT/IB Magnet High School is the oldest magnet high school in Raleigh, NC.  With programming spanning over 40 years, Enloe offers students a wide variety of opportunities for core content, electives, and extracurricular activities. Our school has students and educators from every part of Wake County. Due to the diverse population and excellent academics, students graduating from Enloe are well prepared to move forward to the next stage of their life whether that be college, career, or military service. 

As the only Gifted & Talented Magnet High School, Enloe is a great fit for students coming from Carnage, Ligon, Martin, Moore Square, or Zebulon GT Middle Schools. We expand on student elective options in all content areas, but especially within the Arts, IB courses, and World Languages Departments. While Enloe is a large school (~2700 students), our staff works to build relationships with every student to foster community and belonging. When asked about Enloe, current students and alumni always mention how every student is able to find their 'niche'. 

Every educator in our building is constantly seeking to provide opportunities for every student to display and strengthen their gifts and talents. Educators do this through high student engagement classrooms, real-world experiences and unique courses. In every classroom, students are eager to participate, use their voices, and push their thinking.
