I have enjoyed being a part of the Bengal Family working at Fuquay-Varina Middle School for the last 19 years. I have taught Social Studies for 30 years in New York, Florida, and North Carolina. I have been married for 28 years and have 2 sons; Tariq and Marcus. I proudly support my youngest son as a Sophomore at UNCC, and my eldest son, who graduated in 2022 from UNC Greensboro, is working in Medical logistics. In my free time, my family travels the world, I weight train, practice Yoga and Pilates, read, dance, paint, and watch movies.
