On January 7, 2025, the California Wildfires started. The fires started because of climate change, drought, and strong winds. Sadly at least 29 people passed away. There were over 16,000 buildings that were destroyed and at least 60,000 acres burned down too. At least 3,000,000 gallons of water were used while trying to extinguish the wildfires. That is about 3 swimming pools. Wow that is a lot!😮 In the end this was a very tragic wildfire that effected many people and towns. You can help stop climate change by reducing food waste, keep walking and ride a bike to reduce pollution, or eat less meat and dairy.
