Meet Mr. Brozovich
The 2024-25 school year is Mr. Brozovich's (also known as Mr. B) first year at Lufkin Middle School as the engineering teacher. Before he taught here, he worked at Harnett Central Middle School in Harnett County, next to Wake County. Mr. Brozovich has always had a love for the way things work, and he has always wanted to teach, but he didn’t know what he wanted to teach. He also taught things other than engineering, like both career classes, keyboarding, and computer science discoveries. Though Mr. B enjoys teaching, some challenges come with it, like managing the time to prepare for six classes across four tracks and three grades. On top of that, some are on different lessons than others.
Mr. B enjoys making things. Some of the things he has made are a wooden chair and a desk for his office. He is a computer whiz and is currently trying to build a PC for his home office. He has lived in North Carolina since he was in the 3rd grade and was born in Ohio. When he was in middle school, his favorite subject was social studies, and he played soccer. He graduated from East Carolina University with both his bachelor's and master's degrees. Lufkin students are fortunate to have him as an engineering teacher because he teaches through hands-on activities that encourage creativity and pull in other subjects like math and science.
