The Heart of Lufkin Road Middle: Where Education Meets Fun!

Imagine wanting a good middle school where you can easily make lots of friends, have great teachers and principals, and a variety of things to do. Well, no need to imagine! Lufkin Road Middle School is a great school that meets all of your academic, educational, and fun-tastic requirements.

Our school includes engaging core classes that teach you many things, and we have wonderful teachers. If core classes aren’t your thing, electives offer a great way to spend time learning while also chilling out. Each student can choose two electives, which are located in different places in the building. Most of the students here love electives and think they are a fun way to learn.

If electives aren’t your thing either, try out for some sports! There is a big variety of options available for both boys and girls, including basketball, soccer, football, and many more! Also, if you love reading, our school has a great big library full of interesting books to suit your tastes, along with reading competitions that can help you win prizes. Every season, we also have a book fair where you can buy different books, stationery, posters, and more! I love going to the library, especially when the book fair comes around because there are so many different books to buy and choose from.

Most importantly, if you need help with anything, ask our teachers and staff. Everyone is so nice, and they will especially help you out on your first day of middle school, so don’t sweat it. They explain things very easily and kindly. Our teachers in our track are super nice and help us with anything we need. If we miss anything, they provide us with the resources we need.

Don’t forget about our counselors either; they can help you manage stress and anxiety, ensuring you are at your best! Ms. Alcorn is our 6th-grade counselor, and she is super kind, always ready to talk to us and calm us down. It's easy to make great friends at this school who will support you and won’t let you down. Everyone has at least one friend on their first day of school. I personally have had a great experience so far and wish to keep having it!
