Welcome to the TCE Remote Learning Website. This site provides the instructional resources and links needed for remote learning. To navigate, please use the menus at the top of the site to find and access important information, school and district resources, and material posted by grade levels, support staff and specialists.
Turner Creek Remote Learning is designed to give students an engaging online learning experience that includes clear expectations and outcomes for each week. These expectations will include online and offline learning activities. The work for the week in each content area can be found in Google Classroom. Tools in Google Classroom such as instructional videos, live and recorded sessions, online resources and chats on Google Hangout will be used. Not all components of online learning will happen in the first two weeks but build over time as teachers get to know their students and student comfort increases.
It is important that students understand their responsibility as learners to engage in their classrooms each day. In addition, they are responsible for the same behavioral expectations as defined by each class. This includes appropriate online behavior within the Learning Platform.

Wake County has chosen Google Classroom as the remote Learning Management System for Elementary Schools. All teachers at TCE will be using Google Classroom to deliver remote learning lessons, activities and resources. Google Classroom can be accessed through the WakeID Portal.
