I am a lifelong learner who loves to read and travel! I have been a classroom teacher (22 years) and now librarian (8 years)! I graduated from UNCW, earned a Master’s in Instructional Technology from UNC-Chapel Hill and a Master’s in Library and Information Science from UNC-Greensboro. I'm a wife, mom, and newly grandmother (#honeybee). I'm invested in promoting equity and encouraging students to have an appreciation for reading and inquiry.
