Alliance Health
If a student has Tailored Plan Medicaid, Medicaid Direct, or is uninsured, parents/guardians may independently call the Alliance Health Member and Recipient Services number during business hours at 800-510-9132 to link their child to a behavioral/mental health provider. For crisis response or an urgent need, parents/guardians can call the 24/7 Alliance Behavioral Health Crisis Line at 877-223-4617. The Alliance Health Member and Recipient Services and Behavioral Health Crisis Line cannot assist with referrals or linkage to a provider if the student has private insurance, Tri-Care, or one of the five Medicaid Standard Plans. A parent/guardian whose student has private insurance, Tri-Care, or one of the five Medicaid standard plans must call their insurance provider directly for assistance in identifying behavioral/mental health providers in their network. Mobile crisis services provided by Therapeutic Alternatives can be accessed through the Alliance Health 24/7 Behavioral Health Crisis Line (877-223-4617) for members with all insurance plans or by calling Therapeutic Alternatives mobile crisis line directly at 1-877-626-1772. WCPSS staff may provide assistance ONLY with parent/guardian-initiated calls. When parents/guardians reach out to the Alliance through the Member and Recipient or 24/7 Behavioral Health Crisis Line, noted above, to initiate a referral for their child, WCPSS staff will not receive updates, feedback, etc. regarding services provided. However, WCPSS staff may encourage the parent to complete the WCPSS consent, which would allow for WCPSS staff to speak directly to the therapist/provider once a therapist/provider is in place.
