ASVAB
The Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) was designed by the Department of Defense to assist students across our nation to learn more about career exploration and planning. The ASVAB Career Exploration Program is a comprehensive career exploration and planning program that includes a multiple aptitude test battery, and interest inventory, and various career planning tools designed to help students explore the world of work. You ARE NOT obligated to join a particular branch of military by taking this assessment and many students use it to give them direction in exploring future careers.
The ASVAB is offered to 10-12 graders at Southeast Raleigh Magnet HS during both the Fall and Spring semesters.
The ASVAB Career Exploration Program (CEP) can help you take steps now toward finding a career that’s right for you. You can benefit from the ASVAB CEP whether you plan to go on to college or enter the workforce. This is a free career assessment to assist you with determining your abilities, skills and interests to help you achieve your post secondary goals whether you are attending College, entering the workforce or enlisting in the Military.
