Jasmine B Knight , a native of Raleigh, NC, began dancing in 7th grade at her home church. Transitioning into Southeast Raleigh Magnet High School her passion for dance ignited. Knowing that she had found her love for dance she became a dancer and pursued her degree at the Illustrious North Carolina Central University. There she received a very hands on education in dance performance and dance education sculpting her very personal outlook on dance as an Art form. In December of 2018 she received her degree. With a Bachelor's of Science in Physical Education with a concentration in Dance Education she is now teaching at the High School of Excellence, South Garner, hoping to share her passion and love for dance with whomever wants to learn. Jasmine's natural and most comfortable movement style is sassy, intricate lyrical with a mix of street jazz and ballet. It is ever changing as she grows in her craft. She has hopes to one day pursue a Master's of Fine Arts specializing in Choreography. Jasmine plans to give back to the dance community as much as possible so that she can share her passion with any and everyone around her using dance as her voice.
