Watch this video to work on "same and different " with your child and then gather some items around the house and ask them if they are the same or different. You can have them bring you items that are the same or different also!
Go on a virtual field trip to the farm!
Play this read aloud of one of our class favorite books and ask a variety of who, what, when and where questions. Examples include: What did Pete step in that turned his shoes blue? What color did the strawberries turn Pete's shoes?
Play this count and match song! It is a great way to work on 1:1 correspondence! Pause and allow them to count the items and then select the matching quantity!
**Have your child help you to sort laundry into piles or the silverware by forks and spoons. You can also have them help you set the table together! this skill works on matching and vocabulary**
Have your child help pretend to help you to cook! Include them in any actual cooking steps you feel they would be successful at, things like making a bowl of cereal of a sandwich for breakfast or lunch? Have your child work on opening a variety of items you will use such as lids or bags!
**Have an "At Home" scavenger hunt! Have your child look for a variety of familiar items in your home. This works on following directions as well as vocabulary identification!**

Have a dance party! Here are some great dance a long videos! This works on gross motor skills as well as following directions!
**Prepositional concepts- place an item in a variety of locations such as "in, on, under, beside, behind, between" and have your child identify where it is. Then have them place the item in the correct location. You can model this skill first for added support.
