I am originally from the Catskill Mountains of New York and moved to North Carolina to go to college. I taught at Centennial Campus Magnet Middle School for 13 years, and I am thrilled to begin my sixth year at Mills Park Middle School this year!
I attended Campbell University and earned my Bachelor's Degree in Middle Grades Education.
I later attended North Carolina State University and earned my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction.

I love to read, and I love to visit new places. Three summers ago, I visited Aruba and Bonaire. I snorkeled and saw a ton of fish and a few sea turtles. It was amazing! While I was away, I also had a chance to relax and read some great books. It was nice to be able to do the two things I love during our time away from school.
