Thank you for coming to this section of my website to get to know me better!
So, a little about me: I am originally from Hickory, NC, where I grew up with my 2 sisters and 2 brothers. I graduated in 2013 from Gardner-Webb University where I met my husband, Mr. Farrell. He is a second-grade teacher. We live in Angier with our twin boys and our sweet, gigantic bloodhound, Copper. I taught 4th grade for four years before teaching 3rd grade for four years. I am excited to be back in 4th grade for my fifth year at Willow Springs, and I could not be happier to be here!
I enjoy spending time with Mr. Farrell and our boys, reading books, collecting movies, playing with Copper, playing any card or board game, trying new recipes, and bargain hunting. My favorite vacation spot is Walt Disney World, where Mr. Farrell and I got engaged, spent our honeymoon, and took our twin announcement pictures.
I am passionate about teaching, learning, and children. I love to learn new things and explain them to others. Teaching is in my blood- many teachers are in my family tree! I believe in teaching students curriculum, so they can get through school as scholars, as well as life skills so they can be contributing citizens in society who know how to communicate with peers and adults.
I am looking forward to an awesome school year!
This is our bloodhound mix, Copper. He is ten years old. He loves barking at cats and chickens, going on walking trails, and ice cream!
This is my family- Elliott, Pete, and Raleigh. Pete and Raleigh will be six years old in November!
My family and I love to go to hockey games (Go Canes!), go outside, go to the beach, and go to our favorite place: Walt Disney World!
