Hi! My name is Meg Kovacs and I'm excited to be starting my 14th year of teaching. This is my 7th year teaching 2nd grade at White Oak. I have my Undergraduate degree from Appalachian State in Elementary Education and my Master's in Reading Education from Appalachian State. I have my National Board Certification in Literacy. I'm very passionate about teaching and I strive to help my students love learning each day.

I love spending time with my family. My husband and I have our fur baby Bugsy and our son Luka. We all enjoy going for walks and playing at the park.
