My name is Jennifer LeGoullon. I am SO excited to be working with all of my third grade friends and families this year!
I was born and raised in northwest Pennsylvania, in the small town of Oil City. I graduated from Edinboro University in 2003 with a degree in elementary education. I began teaching 3rd grade in Johnston County in 2003, and transferred to Wake County in December of 2005. July will mark the start of my 23rd year as a third grade teacher. I am National Board Certified (2008, 2018), and have served in several different leadership roles within WCPSS. I reside in Raleigh with my husband Mike and our daughter Ariana (a rising 7th grader).
I am passionate about making my students feel supported, successful, and loved. I strive for my students to feel empowered by their hard work, responsibility, and success. I also believe in strong partnerships with my families. We are a team!
Speaking of teams, during my down time you can find me in black and gold, cheering on the Steelers and the Pens! Hockey is my favorite sport to watch, and football is a close second.
I am looking forward to an AMAZING school year with your child! Don't hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns. My door is always open.
