🧮Math

🔡Letterland

Letterland is a phonics-based approach to teaching reading, writing, and spelling.  Letterland is an imaginary place where characters are transformed from plain black letter shapes into kid-friendly pictograms. All the Letterlanders have stories that explain each letter sound and shape. 📚EL

Our language comprehension units are delivered with EL Education resources.  There are four main module topics that are covered during the school year.  Each module consists of 3 units that cover all the language arts components of language, speaking and listening, writing, and comprehension.  Click here for an overview of EL Education.  

🔬Science 

Our Science units cover the four areas of matter, relationships of sound and vibration, life cycles and heredity, as well as Earth systems.  Many of the lessons involve investigations that provide students with opportunities to discover the key concepts of each standard.

🌎Social Studies 

Our Social Studies units cover the five areas of behavior science (values and beliefs of different cultures), civics and government, history, economics, as well as geography.  Students will explore how these ideas have shaped our country and how they relate to their everyday lives.
