Hello! My name is Alice Verstrat, and I have been the Psychologist at Partnership Magnet Elementary School since 2018. I love supporting students, staff and families in the many ways my role allows me to do. I am also the Psychologist at East Garner Elementary School.

I grew up in Maine and received my undergraduate degree from Harvard University in English. I got my Masters in Education from Simmons College in Boston and then taught high school English for 20 years including 4 years in Brazil, 4 years in Istanbul, Turkey, and my last 8 years of teaching at Garner Magnet High School. I left teaching in 2013 and earned my PhD in Psychology at UNC Chapel Hill. I am a licensed psychologist as well as a school psychologist. 

I love spending time with my husband of 27 years, our adult kids, and my extended family and friends. I love to read, run, hike, and explore the gorgeous North Carolina outdoors.
