Our PME Community Library Mission Statement

The PME library’s mission is to maintain a relevant and current collection that empowers students to seek knowledge and find joy in reading by:
  • Creating an environment where knowledge is used to make meaningful connections and positively impact the classroom, school, and greater community. 
  • Creating and maintaining a diverse collection of high quality books that reflect the rich tapestry of our community, promote effective communication, compassion, empathy, and represent diverse groups. 
  • Providing equitable access to materials, ensuring that all learners become effective users of information.
