Quarter 2

• Reading and writing sight words to build reading fluency

• Building and reading CVC words (consonant, vowel, consonant)

• Segmenting sounds in words

• Retell familiar stories and answer questions about a story read aloud

• Writing using simple sentences, detailed pictures, and stretching sounds of unknown words.

• Opinion writing

• Identifying and producing rhyming words.
