About the Teachers

I'm so excited to be teaching at Partnership this year!  This will be my 6th year here after many years in elementary/middle school across Wake County.  I love the community at Partnership and am excited to be a part of the family!

I'm married to my wife, Laura, and we have 2 beautiful and busy daughters; Molly, 8 and Mia, 6. I adore being a husband and a father and I'm so thankful to have them in my life.  I attend Freeway Church in Cary.  When I'm not spending time with my family or teaching, I love to play almost any sport, especially basketball and golf.  I'm also a big Duke fan.

I’m so excited about this upcoming school year! This will be my 17th year of teaching and my 2nd year at Partnership Elementary. I am excited to work with such an amazing community of staff, students, and parents. 

My favorite part of teaching is building relationships with my students. In 5th grade we consider our classrooms to be one family who support and care for one another and we hope our students feel the same. Showing kindness and making the world a better place are common themes in all of our 5th-grade classrooms. It's going to be a wonderful year!

Hi! I am excited to be entering my 4th year at Partnership Magnet Elementary and my 12th year in education!

Before moving to North Carolina in 2020, I lived and grew up in New York. One of my favorite parts of teaching 5th grade is getting to focus on one subject, especially math! I love helping students build confidence, problem-solve, and discover that math can be both challenging and fun.

Outside of school, my husband and I stay busy with our son, Reese, who will turned one this summer. Becoming a mom has been the greatest joy and most rewarding experience of my life. As a family, we love to travel, visit family in Florida often, and consider ourselves true foodies who enjoy trying new places and flavors. I am excited for another year of learning, growing, and making great memories together!
