Welcome to band at Neuse River!
We will be exploring the fundamentals of music making and what it means to be a part of an ensemble! Students will have the opportunity to perform for the school and community, as well as audition for different Honor Bands in North Carolina.
Meet the Teacher!
Josh Sheppard is originally from Newport, North Carolina. He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he performed regularly with the UNC Wind Ensemble and the UNC Tuba Quartet. Mr. Sheppard actively performs in the Triangle Area with groups such as the Triangle Brass Band and the Triangle Wind Ensemble. Mr. Sheppard also works with the Green Hope High School Marching Band in Morrisville, NC as a visual and music instructor.
