My name is Domonique Nelson-Johnson and I have the pleasure of being your Career and Technical Education teacher for the 2020-2021 academic school year.
The curriculum for Principles of Business and Finance courses introduces students to topics related to business, finance, management and marketing to cover business in the global economy, functions of business organization and management, marketing basics, and significance of business financial and risk management. Entrepreneurship I Honors courses teaches students the basics of planning and launching a business. Students learn about real life entrepreneurs, characteristics of successful entrepreneurs, pros and cons of self-employment, and how to attract investors and manage expenses. Students also learn how to generate business ideas; create a business plan, mission and vision; and promote and market a company.
This website is designed to provide students with access to the documents used in the classroom using the tabs at the top of the page. Documents are organized by the dates they are presented to the class. If additional clarification is needed, tutorials are available by appointment.
