My name is Mrs. Muse and I teach Intervention and a variety of math classes at Salem Middle School This is my seventeenth year at Salem Middle School! I went to elementary school in New York, but moved to Cary as I was going into middle school. I attended Apex Middle and Apex High. I graduated from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill -- Go TarHeels!

I have not ventured far from the Raleigh area and now live here with my husband (a high school counselor) and our toddler Ellison. We love to stay active - you'll often find us playing outdoors, hiking, riding bikes, and swimming.

I have always been passionate about teaching math and working with middle school students makes it even better. My favorite math topics include integers, equations, and graphing. I love working with students in small groups and enjoy nothing more than the light-bulb moments as students start to make connections!
