For the spring semester, students will begin using a Mustang Report for classroom behavior. The report has targeted behaviors as successes and areas for improvement. Throughout the day, students will write down a code reflecting their behavior. On Fridays, students will bring their weekly Mustang Report home for parents to review and sign. Successes will count as dojo points, while area for improvement will result in losing dojo points.
For the fall semester, we will use Class Dojo as a class. Students will be able to earn points by following the classroom rules and school expectations. Students will lose points if they do not follow rules and expectations. At the end of each week, students will be able to cash in their points for prizes! You can log in to Class Dojo through a parent account to keep track of your child's progress. Please note that although Class Dojo has a messaging component, I will be using Talking Points and email for communication.
