All About Ms. Smith
The Basics
My name is Lizzie Smith and I am 25 years old! I live in Raleigh and love traveling and spending time with my friends and family. This will be my 2nd year teaching at Douglas Elementary. I love 2nd grade and I am so excited to do this thing virtually with all of you!
Childhood
I grew up in Raleigh, North Carolina and attended Brooks Elementary, Carroll Middle School, and graduated from Sanderson High School in 2013! My imediate family consits of my 29 year old brother, my step-dad as well as my mother. The pictue to the left is of my dad, me, my mom and my brother at my highschool graduation. I lost my dad two years ago to illness.
Education
In Decemeber of 2018, I graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in Elementary Education: General Curriculum with a concentration in Reading Instruction. In May of 2019, I graduated with a Masters in Education. Both degrees are from East Carolina University. GO PIRATES!
