Ms. Rhyne and Mr. Tidd welcomes you to Moore Square Magnet Middle School and the world of Math. We are excited and can't wait to turn your students into Math Lover. This year, students will be learning 6th grade and 7th grade math standards that will push them forward to taking Math 1 in their 8th grade year.

From hands-on lessons to interactive math activities using the Open Up Resources, your student will engage in deep understanding of math.

Students also participate in many collaborative activities – problem-solving in pairs or teams – in order to help them express their math thinking and learn from their peers. Middle school kids love to talk, and we find that it helps to push their thinking, while also developing students’ communication and collaboration skills.
