A LITTLE ABOUT ME

Hello, my name is Monica Rehl and I am the proud art teacher at Ballentine Elementary School! When I am not teaching my students art, I enjoy watercolor painting, yoga, and spending time with my husband and 3 big, silly dogs. I believe in inspiring children, and the art classroom is the perfect place to do so. My hope isn't that every child will go on to become world-renowned artists, but that each child will leave with the confidence that they are an artist and that they can achieve great things if they just believe in themselves. 

EDUCATION

I have a  Bachelor of Science degree in Art Education K-12 from Appalachian State University. This is my sixth year teaching and fifth year at Ballentine. 

I can not wait to work with all of the fireflies at Ballentine where we will grow and glow in art!
