About Ms. Knapp

Welcome to Second Grade!

Dear 2nd Grade Families,

Welcome to a new school year! I am so excited to be here at Willow Springs Elementary School and look forward to an exciting school year. Before we get started, I want to tell you a little about myself. I was born and raised in Freeland, Michigan. I obtained my bachelor’s degree in elementary education with a minor in early childhood from Saginaw Valley State University and have been teaching for over 13 years. My husband and I relocated from Michigan to North Carolina in 2014. Outside of the classroom I enjoy reading, going to the beach, and spending time with family. 

Together my husband and I have, a baby boy, named Colton. It’s going to be a wonderful school year filled with learning, adventures and memories!
