About Ms. L

My name is Kelsey Lorenzen, and I will be your Language Arts teacher for the 2017-2018 school year! I was born and raised in Cary, North Carolina and only ventured a few miles down the road to attend North Carolina State University. GO PACK! While attending NC State University I earned a Bachelor's of Science in Middle Grades Language Arts and Social Studies. After College I decided to stay in the area and only move a short ways down the road just inside Raleigh. Over this next year my goal is to challenge my students and have them exceed expectations. As my students will learn, I have high expectations for my students! I look forward to helping them reach their goals in the classroom this year. This is going to be a great year and I can't wait to start working with all of you!

Fun Facts:

~I love to cook and bake whenever I get a chance!

~My favorite ice cream is wolf tracks! YUM!

~When it's not too hot I love taking trips to the the beach.

~I have two little fur babies (cats) named Kleo and Lola!

~In addition to being a Wolfpack fan I am a born and bred Clemson tigers fan! Go TIGERS!
