The vision of Fred A. Olds school counseling program is to nurture, challenge, and equip all students with social, emotional, and academic skills to become responsible communicators and critical thinkers who are prepared for the future.

 Fred A. Olds School Counseling Mission Statement

The school counseling department at Fred A. Olds Elementary believes that every student should have equal opportunity to have access to a full-time and certified school counselor. The comprehensive school counseling program is designed to meet personal/social, academic, and career needs in order to become collaborative, creative, effective communicators, critical thinkers, and responsible citizens.  The Fred A. Olds counseling department believes that the counseling program should be designed to help reach academic goals, teach 21st century skills, be a positive behavior intervention support, and be available for every student. The counseling department will abide by the professional school counseling code of ethics and will continue to attend professional development trainings in order to maintain a comprehensive school counseling program.
