At Fred. A. Olds Elementary School, we will partner with our community to nurture, challenge, and equip each student with social, emotional, and academic skills. We will create a learning environment that prioritizes equitable access and joy so that students are empowered to think critically and communicate responsibly.

The school counseling department at Fred A. Olds Elementary believes that every student should have equal opportunity to have access to a full-time and certified school counselor. The comprehensive school counseling program is designed to meet personal/social, academic, and career needs in order to become collaborative, creative, effective communicators, critical thinkers, and responsible citizens.  The Fred A. Olds counseling department believes that the counseling program should be designed to help reach academic goals, teach 21st century skills, be a positive behavior intervention support, and be available for every student. The counseling department will abide by the professional school counseling code of ethics and will continue to attend professional development trainings in order to maintain a comprehensive school counseling program.
