Week of 10/05 - 10/09

Happy Friday!

I hope everyone has been well this week.

This week in Math 1, we finished up Module 2, and took Module 2 Quiz 2. We also spent Thursday and Friday reviewing for the upcoming test. Please remind students of all the online resources available to them to review for their test. (Live Session Videos on the class website, Canvas R/S/G Videos, Quizzes, etc)

This week in Math 1, we began by taking Module 2 Quiz 1, then finished lessons 2.4-2.7.

I hope you all had a great week. Here is your Math 1 Update.

This week we finished Module 1, and took our last quiz of the unit: Module 1 Quiz 2.

We spent all day today reviewing for the Module 1 Test which is on Monday. Please check your student's Powerschool to see if they are missing any Homework assignments from the First Unit.

On Tuesday next week, we will begin Module 2, which is in the same workbook as Module 1.

Week of 9/8 - 9/11

Happy Friday!

I wanted to start by updating all of you on what we've accomplished in Math 1 this week.

Tuesday: Module 1 Quiz 1, and Module 1 Lesson 5

Wednesday - Friday: We completed lessons 6-8 in Module 1

Both Thursday and Friday's lessons had teaching videos that I created. I've put all of the Unit 1 Instruction videos at the top of their Canvas page, so the students have access to re-watch them at any time.

Plans for next week:

We will be finishing lessons 9 through 11 on Monday - Wednesday

Thursday 9/17: Module 1 Quiz 2

Friday 9/18: Module 1 Test Review

Monday 9/21: Module 1 Test

Final Reminders

Please check your student's Powerschool for missing assignments. Every lesson has an assignment that needs to be submitted into Canvas.

Happy Friday!

I wanted to first say thank you for your support with virtual learning. I know how challenging it can be for you as the parents and for the students. The kids have been working hard, and I'm confident that we are going to make it through together!

HW: R/S/G 1.3 and 1.4 (submit on Canvas) by Tuesday.

If you have any other questions about your particular student's grade, please let me know and I'd be happy to help. Powerschool is completely updated.The students have videos of me teaching, as well as Homework help videos on Canvas that they can access to study for their quiz Tuesday.
