PROGRAMMING & BROADCASTING - INTERMEDIATE
Students continue to develop the basic academic skills and concepts in many short written exercises as well as longer script writing projects. The student's own ideas are used in developing studio productions through directing, recording, editing, and utilizing color cameras, professional lighting, and sound equipment as well as a special effects generator.
Prerequisite: Programming & Broadcasting - Beginning or audition/portfolio
PROGRAMMING & BROADCASTING - PROFICIENT
This course challenges students who have prior television experience. Students take on the total responsibility of writing, producing, directing, recording, and editing a daily news program (BDTV) for the school. Students at this level are expected to provide technical support for activities after school hours. The final outcome for this class is a professional portfolio to have post-high school. There is a high level of performance expectation associated with this course. Most of the work in this class will be produced for Bulldog Television Network.
